LMS PRIDE Core Values Project from New Hampshire

Snow! Whenever we do this project it snows, a lot, so much so they often cancel school. Lebanon Middle School teacher Brendan Armstrong came up with the idea to make short films that reflect how his students understand the seven core values, as identified by their school. The LMS PRIDE Core Values are: Leadership, Motivation, Spirit, Perseverance, Respect, Integrity, Dependability and Excellence.

The assignment is for the students to select one of the LMS PRIDE Core Values and make a film showing how they live by the value in their daily life. For example, the photo above is from a film focussing on the value of perseverance; in the film the student shows how the sport of nordic skiing requires perseverance in various ways, from preparation to training to competing.
