Our student from Thailand requests: "please pick up your trash."

World Story Exchange joined forces with Trash Hero to offer a storytelling workshop for Chao Lae (local "sea gypsy") students on the island of Koh Lipe, Thailand. Ten students participated in a five-day photo story creation workshop culminating with a packed-house end-of-workshop screening.

One student, named Gale (age 15), asked our world's brothers and sisters to help keep his home clean. His home, the island of Koh Lipe is rapidly changing due to tourism and the resulting waste. Here is Gale's short and powerful photo story.
